“Poor service, Rude staff, Overpriced, Misrepresented online”
The vistas were nice. The image they show on social media with influencers getting free stays for positive reviews does not match what a paying guest experienced. We arrived at 9 am after an overnight flight and were told we couldn’t shower or use any facilities to change and freshen up. They strictly enforced the 3 pm check‑in time and didn’t try to make us comfortable before then. Breakfast was a total let‑down: no buffet, the à‑la‑carte ordering was clunky and offered very little choice or variety. The wait staff repeatedly made us feel like a nuisance. My wife speaks Spanish (they didn’t know this) and could hear them speaking poorly about “stupid guests” from their stations. This hotel isn’t worth the prices it charges. You pay a hefty premium just to be near Deia, and even then it’s a long, dangerous hike on a busy road to reach the town. We upgraded to the deluxe suite, about $1400 a night, and the room was fine. Other negatives include a lack of amenities—no spa, gym, or other facilities on site. The pool is not heated and stays unbearably cold even when it’s 80 F outside. There’s also a distinct lack of parking spaces on the property, making it inconvenient to shuffle cars whenever we wanted to leave. Bottom line: they have a long way to go to improve customer experience. If you value hotels that go above and beyond even the little things, avoid Sa Pedrissa. For us they couldn’t even get the basics right, which is a real shame.
