7.0/10 – The bed was comfy with clean sheets and duvet, yet there were loose plugs and switches on the walls, only one plug on one side of the bed, and the floor under the carpet was bumpy.

The kitchen had more space and gear than I expected, the bedroom was roomy, parking was good, and it was central to the CBD. I was shocked by the worn woodwork on the windows, the peeling lino, and especially the exit from the top bedroom: you descend two steps, then make a sharp left onto a steep, narrow staircase with a very low wooden banister that feels flimsy—this would fail a health and safety check. I also didn’t realize we were wedged between two loud student flats, so it was noisy.
