The location is good, the room was clean and had been recently renovated, and the bedding was comfortable. Some lights were out, so I was moved to another room where a few lights still failed, but that wasn’t a major issue. The water took forever to heat up, so I ended up doing something else instead.

Breakfast wasn’t included. I’d stayed in the area before and knew where the restaurants were. My clothes had a damp smell even though the room itself didn’t, and the north-facing room didn’t get much light or view; I’d prefer a room on the other side of the building.

The view, the location, the room amenities, and the hosts’ responsiveness were all great. The only downside was that it was a bit loud because of other guests right next door, but that was just the situation. Otherwise, it was awesome.

I enjoyed the fireplace, but the bed was on rollers and the walls were thin.

The place was charming, the modern amenities were solid, and the staff were exceptional.
