“Strong smells of smoke”
The rooms were spacious and the staff were friendly. The hotel was not very good. First, communication was poor: we wanted to cancel the first night because our flight was cancelled, sent them a message, but they never responded. When we arrived the next afternoon, they still didn’t know we had sent the messages. Second, our room was quite dirty, with ants on the floor and walls, and dust in many places. The worst part was the strong cigarette and smoke smell that filled the room for all three days, even though the rooms were non‑smoking. The odor seemed to come from outside or an adjacent room, perhaps through the AC, and it lingered on our clothes left out on the chair. On the penultimate day we asked the receptionists about it; they offered an air freshener but did not apologize or explain.
