The location was fine and breakfast was acceptable. I booked specifically for an EV charger, but the BP Pulse charger in the car park isn’t actually theirs, and it didn’t work, forcing me to go elsewhere to charge. They should consider installing fast chargers or at least reliable outside plug points.

The hotel looked nice on the outside, but the hallway wasn’t clean or vacuumed, and there were dusty vacuum bags and towels left outside the room. The room itself was overly dusty, curtains were ripped, walls had stains, and there was a huge pile of bird droppings on the window ledge that could have been removed beforehand; the windows were dirty and mouldy. It was very unkempt and clearly in need of a revamp, which is why we didn’t stay.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the staff fantastic, but the stairs were a bit of a problem for someone with a disability.
