The pool overall is very nice, the water temperature is good, and the location is good. The cleanliness could be improved; there were days when it seemed they only made the bed because we always found a lot of hair on the floor, not to mention the dirty brush that was found and left by previous guests, and the rude manner of the older gentleman who welcomed us (the young staff were very friendly). When I asked if we could have lunch on the day of our arrival, he replied, “If you pay, you can eat!” Our question was not a request for a complimentary lunch, so this gentleman’s courtesy needs improvement.

“Preis Leistung ist gut.”

The location was good and we found the Hovima Green project meaningful. The food was always fresh and hygienic, with a wide variety. The bed with two single mattresses was very uncomfortable. The floor wasn’t very clean.

The location is fantastic, with an incredibly beautiful beach—Playa del Duque—showing a stunning azure ocean; the hotel itself is gorgeous and welcoming, and we were treated to drinks upon arrival. The buffet was delicious and offered something for everyone, though I wish there had been more variety at breakfast; there were plenty of options, but at dinner the salads were already plated in bowls, a presentation that was missing from the morning spread. The terrace overlooking the city is breathtaking, as is the service—every cocktail was high quality and tasty. Inside the hotel you can book any tour, rent a car, and the staff will help you sort everything out; there's a screen where you can view all possible vacation activities, from sea cruises to bus tours. A bus stop right outside the hotel is also very convenient. Room cleaning was decent but superficial, and the tiles were cracked and needed replacing; the balconies lacked ashtrays. Overall, I really liked everything and would return again.

“Regular para el precio”

The proximity to the beach and shopping areas was great, but the room’s air conditioner didn’t cool properly and there was a cockroach; the food wasn’t outstanding.

My six‑year‑old and I are frequent hotel‑goers and we’ve already stayed at Isla Bonita, but I have to say I liked the recent renovation, the food was good and the kitchen staff were competent, although the dinner menu for kids was a bit limited; otherwise congratulations and we’ll be back.
