Booking was easy at the last minute for my family who came from Palmerston North for the National secondary schools Kapahaka Competition.

“Wouldn’t stay there again.”

I booked at the last minute and could park my car in the driveway. However, it was basically a sleep‑out; I could hear the owners next door because there was a connecting door. The accommodation was very basic and outdated, the bathroom facilities were not very clean, and I never saw the owners.

“Wonderful, comfortable, quiet. Had everything you needed even an electric blanket”

The hosts were lovely and the studio was wonderful—very comfortable and quiet. It was so close to everything that I would definitely stay again. The only downside was that the driveway was narrow for reversing the car, but that was manageable with a bit of care.
