The staff were lovely, and we had access to a shuttle that took us into town. The pool and spa centre were nice, but walking into town was too far and the shuttle service stopped running at 8 pm.

The spa was stellar; the staff were responsive, fluent in English, and proactive in offering service. The front desk staff are some of the best we’ve ever met, even though we travel a lot. They provided a timely, free shuttle to the city centre, so we didn’t need to park. A key tip is to use taxis to reach trailheads, as parking is very difficult. We used this for the Three Peaks iconic hike, and the taxi cost both ways was well worth it.
