Nice owner, good location near Torreira and the sea. Unfortunately, my experience with Beachhouse Babylon was disappointing. If you’re looking for a relaxing spot, skip this place; you won’t find peace here. The house and garden are cluttered and messy. There’s no decent spot inside or outside to sit comfortably or eat, and the house has a strange vibe. To make matters worse, the owner’s dog (or cat) defecated in the garden every day, which is very dirty; after reporting it, it was cleaned right away. Comfort-wise, the house falls short: only the living room has air‑conditioning, so the rest stays hot. Moreover, you must turn the AC off immediately when you leave the door because of “sustainability” and the risk of a fine if you don’t, which forces you back into a stuffy room.
