The property was spread out for privacy and the porch was very spacious, but the area was completely on fire. A sharp burning smell filled the air and there was a lot of ash. The pool was unusable with many mosquitoes. The photos on Booking did not match the mess, with piles of junk everywhere and a lack of cleaning and maintenance. It was chaotic, reminiscent of the Winchester house from the horror film. The lights constantly flickered, making noises. The electrical system felt unsafe. The kitchen floor was unstable. The old, dirty Italian coffee maker made it impossible to brew coffee, and there was a lot of grime in the kitchen and rooms. The beds were very uncomfortable. The sheets were mismatched, making it hard to get dressed. The alarm was out of order. Communication with the owner was poor. She gave excessive instructions that I had never seen elsewhere. It felt dangerous to bring small children. We were very uncomfortable and left earlier than planned. I cannot recommend it at all for families with kids.
