The hostel was a bit out of the way, but it was very clean and the kitchen looked lovely – perfect overall. The reception was disappointing; the young woman seemed uninterested and as if the season was ending. She demanded an ID for the first time in 13 days of travel, at a hotel, campsite, or hostel, and the France Identité app was not accepted. Nobody was at the front desk, and she interrupted a conversation with a colleague to “register” you! She only needed fingerprints, and the police file was complete – it’s a real “profession”…

The host team welcomed us warmly and gave great tips for sightseeing. It’s a bit far from the city centre, though.

The staff were very helpful and patient, many rooms have a balcony or terrace, and the kitchen is well equipped.
