The property looks gorgeous and getting to the trails is a breeze, but everything else costs extra. The resort fee is $18 per person per night and parking is another $38 per night, making the stay pricey, and they only hand out one small water bottle per person for the whole visit; at that price we’d expect daily complimentary water.

The overall experience at Llao Llao and its location was excellent, and breakfast was very nice; nothing to add.

The facilities are impressive and the hotel itself really makes an impression, plus the heated pool is great, but the restaurant is pricey. The rooms feel very old.

Everything was excellent. I would have liked them to light the wood‑fire stoves, which is iconic for that spot; they said it wasn’t the season, but another hotel had them lit 😕
