The spot was great, just a few minutes from the beach. The downside? The houses have barely any storage compartments for luggage or clothes.

The place is lovely, close to the beach and the village of Henne, and also near the wide dunes where you can walk or bike nicely. The toilet buildings and the block hut are clean, and there’s a fun playground for kids.

I felt very comfortable. The new furnishings made a huge difference, and it was clean too. The only issue was the lack of a ladder on the bunk bed, making it hard to get in and out, plus there was no fly screen.

The sanitary facilities were good. The only drawback was that it’s a bit remote—2 km to the village, and the huts are simply basic.
