The staff were courteous. Unfortunately the bathtub drain was clogged, causing hot water to pool on the floor, there was no lift so the silver‑age guests couldn’t manage, and the lack of windows meant we missed the view entirely.

Having a bathtub in the room, two beds, ample space, and great views were great. The entrance and access were bad; it’s very far from the bus stop and with luggage it’s hard to get to the hotel.

The food was extremely tasty and the private open‑air ceramic “goemon” bath in the room was wonderfully spacious. However, the bed making was so stiff I couldn’t fall asleep, a dish was served just before we finished the meal with a confusing “what is this used for?” question, the ventilation duct was noisy and kept me awake, and I got lost three times on the way to the hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast and dinner, they were actually pretty good. But there were a few things that were off - I wish they had slippers for guests to wear in the room, and the closet was tiny and kinda dark.

The food at this hotel was really great, it was super delicious and looked fancy. But there were a couple things that bothered me - the walls seemed pretty thin, I could hear the people next door making a lot of noise. And the women's bath was kinda small.
