The place is super pretty and full of charm. The rooms are large and comfortable, and everything looks very nice. The only issue is that there’s no dinner after 8 pm and no option to buy anything if you arrive late; it would be nice to have at least a cold snack available.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at this charming hotel, with its excellent location and historic house surrounded by beautiful gardens. Traveling with our baby, we were assigned a spacious ground‑floor room overlooking the gardens, which was lovely, and the large, comfortable bathroom was especially handy for a little one. The real highlight was the staff – everyone was exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel well taken care of throughout. Their warmth and willingness to help truly enhanced our experience. It’s a beautiful place with a wonderful team, and we’d gladly return and highly recommend it.

The quiet location and calm atmosphere, the stately manor feel, and the tasty food (both dinner and breakfast) were all great.

The property is lovely, with decor and surroundings that sympathetically echo its past as a manor house while offering cosy rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient from the motorway. The only thing I liked about everything was that I liked everything – no complaints.

The location was great, easily accessible and peaceful. The room was well laid out and comfortable with lovely views out over the grounds. The pillows need revamping as found them quite flat
