The rooms were spacious with a full-size fridge, quiet, and I wasn’t disturbed at all.

I loved staying for the rest of the week and the weekend; the management and staff were courteous and pleasant, the hotel was clean and everything worked except for a complaint that the washer didn’t work. That was the only issue. No washer was available at the time, late March 26, I think.

Getting to the property was easy, it was clean and comfortable, and it met my needs. The breakfast consisted of a few pre‑packaged muffins, some cold cereal, and unrefrigerated yogurt, so while breakfast was technically offered it was practically lacking. The kitchenette had a non‑working two‑burner stove, a microwave, and a cheap K‑cup coffee maker, but there were no cooking utensils—only two bowls, one small plate, and one spoon—so the kitchenette was basically non‑functional.

My stay at the Scottish Inn was quiet, comfortable, and all my needs were met at a high level. The staff accommodated my requests, except for two issues: the washer/dryer was down and when they couldn’t re‑book my stay, I had to move forward with it, which felt like they thought I was a bad tenant. I accepted it without argument because everything else was so over‑the‑top in a good way. I love it; whenever I need a shower or something I choose SOAS. Like today. The only problems were the booking issue and the stairs washer/dryer being down, which was more inconvenient than bad.
