B&D Dolce Vita, a 19th‑century townhouse in Trastevere, places guests 500 m from the Basilica of the hotel's Lady and 700 m from the Tiber. Modern, air‑conditioned rooms feature flat‑screen TVs, minibars, electric kettles, and some spa baths. Free Wi‑Fi, toiletries, and a hairdryer complete the stay, while Campo de’ Fiori is a 15‑minute walk.

The place was spotless and they supplied all the necessities—towels, shampoos, everything. They even had a kitchen you could use, plus coffee and tea from the house. The Smart TV with Netflix was a nice touch after a long day of walking. The neighborhood was superb; we were right next to all the Trastevere restaurants, which completed our Rome experience.

The staff was unhelpful and unresponsive; we couldn't get anyone to assist for hours until we left. We called repeatedly, sent texts, and when we finally reached someone they hung up. The room was not clean, the shower didn’t work (no hot water, just a trickle), bugs were flying around, and the AC was broken—felt like a sauna. It was a horrible experience. Do not stay here.

I loved the location, but there were definitely things that could be improved. The tap was hanging, the shower only had cold water, the TV was broken, and the bathroom light didn’t work. The Wi‑Fi reception was also very weak, so I hope they upgrade those services to make future stays more enjoyable.

Stay away unless you want a shitty experience! It does not look like the images, they want you to share sensitive information on an open source (WhatsApp), and they reach out from several different numbers.
