I met a Nepalese staff member who was incredibly gentle and welcoming, while everything else felt like a standard business experience.

A particular staff member was really helpful and made sure I understood everything even though we didn’t speak Japanese. Don’t book the massage; there was a general smell of smoke around the property and no outdoor onsen.

The old‑style construction gave the place a calm vibe, and the charming ornaments and chairs made me feel like nobility, though some of the wallpaper looked a bit dated and the lack of a separate vanity forced me to brush my teeth and do my makeup between the bathroom and the toilet, which was a let‑down.
