Quechua Plaza Hotel

The location is very good. The staff is helpful and kind. The room was very clean and big. Breakfast could be improved. As a suggestion for the staff: it is not nice to ask a commission (5%) to play with CREDIT card when you are an hotel.

We liked the location a lot, the reception area staff are super friendly. They give you your box lunch at the right time, which is very helpful for the very early tours. The cleaning is good and the buffet is very good and varied.

The staff is very good. Especially Fabrizio because we had a small problem with the room and he solved it quickly and without any problem. Antony also very good! It would be nice to have a bit more variety at breakfast, pastries and other cereals. I missed a toaster.

“Localização boa, mas barulhenta”

The standard room is a good size for two people, has wardrobes and a heater, and the temperature was great so we didn’t feel cold at night. The shower was very good and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite. The hotel has a restaurant that stays open at night and the prices are fair. I didn’t like the breakfast; it offered a wide range of food (rice, pasta, salad, vegetables…) but very few options for guests who don’t usually eat that in the morning. The only thing that was available was scrambled eggs, which were always cold, and some bread. Even though the hotel is on the corner of Av. do Sol and close to many tourist spots, the street is very noisy at night, which makes it hard to sleep. In the early morning vans start picking up tourists for tours and it’s impossible to sleep. The hotel should invest in sound insulation.
