There is a large parking area, a good‑quality restaurant, and average‑sized rooms. The reception staff were a little overwhelmed and disorganized. The rooms were cold (19 °C) and old‑fashioned.
The style of the property and the willingness to allow pets in the room were positives. The bathroom was older than the rest, with a shower over the tub and a plastic curtain.

The pool, breakfast, and soothing quiet were great. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

My wife and I dined at the restaurant, ordering two different tasting menus from the à la carte and a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino FRASCOBALDI 2018. Everything was truly excellent, the staff were friendly, and the kitchen team, especially the chef, delivered sophisticated and delicious dishes. However, our suite was not a suite, the spa was closed, and the room lacked all the comforts it should have had. We opened the jacuzzi to use it, but the shower hose was broken and rusted, leaking water into the tub. When we turned on the motor, the water flooded the tub, and we immediately went to reception to report it. They gave us a room without a jacuzzi and with a broken shower, which was the best they could do. We slept there, but it was impossible because two buses full of pilgrims were making noise until the next morning. We had to pay for dinner in addition to the inconvenience, and we were immediately charged €8 for the stay. They later gave us a 30 % discount voucher if we return. I will never stay here again. Booking, please check these practices that deceive customers; they promise one thing and deliver another, yet the price remains the same.

Breakfast needed a bit of improvement, and the mattress and pillow were somewhat uncomfortable. It was a pity because during booking we were told the hotel was in a location where you could walk to the sanctuary, but that turned out not to be the case; we had to walk along the state road.
