We never met the owner in person, only spoke on the phone, and he was very kind. I would not recommend this place at all; the apartment was very dirty and clearly neglected. The bathroom was tiny, old, and poorly maintained. There was a bad smell in the apartment and the stairwell air was heavy and unpleasant. There were no bed linens. The TV didn’t work and there was no internet, which I find unacceptable for a guest facility. I’ve never encountered such poor and untidy conditions in Italy. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and I wouldn’t stay here again.
