Mitsu Guesthouse, Karon Beach

“Convenient and comfortable stay. Great value for money.”

The guesthouse features a bubble tea/coffee shop next to a 7‑Eleven and is a 15‑minute walk to Karon Beach (no shortcut), with easy access to restaurants and cafés; the room had an ensuite bathroom, fridge, microwave, and sink, offering great value, and I’ll return. The pillow was unsatisfactory.

Wonderful small hotel and a fantastic room! Everything was very clean, tidy, and smelled fresh, with no mold, insects, or anything else. The hotel’s location was very convenient, just a 10–15 minute walk to the sea.

“I wouldnt stay again, but it was cheap.”

The king‑size bed was a plus. The staff were sexist towards women; the front‑desk guy only talked to and listened to my boyfriend, not me. The AC was broken, so we had to change rooms, but both rooms were extremely loud and I got no sleep at all. Comfort-wise it was okay. The location was bad, right on the main road with heavy traffic. The walls were paper‑thin, so you could hear everything.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Karon Beach! It was my first time in Thailand, and this wonderful place made it truly unforgettable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home from day one. The guesthouse sits in a very peaceful and quiet spot. Everything needed was just around the corner, from convenience stores to delicious local street food. Inside the guesthouse they sell amazing fresh drinks—Lychee Soda was my absolute favorite! There’s also a spacious shared kitchen where you can borrow beach mats, which is super convenient. Every day I took a lovely walk to Karon Beach, which I think is the most wonderful beach around. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality; I would definitely come back.
