“Perfect for a short stay”
A tiny room works great for a single night, the internet was reliable and there was even a bathtub, so I was clean. The place is close to a main street, so you get typical city noise, but that didn’t bother me.

Hotel Am Blauen Wunder, located in Dresden's picturesque Blasewitz quarter, offers easy access to the historic city centre via nearby public transport connections. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from a tram stop, with a 20-minute ride to Old Town. Cyclists appreciate the nearby Elberadweg cycle path along the river Elbe, making it an ideal base for exploration.

The place is a bit dated. Overall, it’s very noisy when rush hour traffic starts.

The location was absolutely perfect, right on Schillerplatz and the Blue Wonder. The lady at the reception was very friendly. The facilities were somewhat okay, and I appreciated the bathtub as a nice bonus. The cleaning lady opens the door even though the “please do not disturb” sign hangs outside—that’s a no‑go for me. The dog fee is €15 per day and they provide a dog bed, food bowl, etc., which I find a bit pricey. Unfortunately, there’s no safe or fridge in the room.

We really liked it. Great location, friendly staff, clean, very quiet. We’ll definitely come back.

The underground parking is only suitable for normal to smaller vehicles.
