The suite comes with a small kitchen for cooking, is very near the boardwalk and beach access, and the beds were comfortable. The pool was too small and crowded, and the suite’s kitchen and living area were very old and cramped.

The beds were comfortable, parking was good, we liked the icemaking machine, coffee access, and the beach was close. The oven was filthy, no towels arrived, only two spoons and three forks were provided—insufficient for a family of four—and at least two hangers would have helped.

The location is excellent for the beach and close to the boardwalk; there are restaurants nearby and Walmart a few kilometres away. Don’t go to ACME—it’s more expensive. The hotel says coffee is available in the office, but it isn’t ready at 8:30, the opening time. Bring your own cloths, dishware, and dish soap. A kettle is in our kitchen, but after writing three times I never got a reply about whether one is included in the apartment; it had no filters. The kitchen lacked utensils (no forks), so we had to buy them.

I really liked the location; it’s near the start of the boardwalk but not too close. The walk to the beach is easy, especially with kids. Two different pools were available, which was nice. The gentleman in the lobby was super friendly and accommodated everything we asked for (extra towels, etc.). The common area was a good size for all of us and the bedrooms were nice. The ACs worked well. The shower was a little small but we didn’t mind. We plan to return next year. Housekeeping had to be requested—it wasn’t automatic, which I found odd since most places provide it unless you opt out. We asked for daily service because we were a large group with several children, mainly to empty trash and sweep sandy floors. Service was inconsistent: the first day they only dropped off towels and removed some trash; the second day they didn’t come at all, so I had to call; on the last day they still hadn’t arrived by late afternoon, so I called the nice man at the front desk and they finally came. The staff was always kind, but housekeeping could use better organization, especially since they serve multiple motels, including Buttercup.
