Nothing positive! The lack of light in both the room and the common areas, even at breakfast, meant we needed a lamp to see what was on the table—completely different from the bright photos shown at booking.

The location was great for everything, but we would have liked a view of the sea 🌊.

The reception was very friendly, but there was no clean parking at the property; we had to unload our luggage and park at the nearby port.

The room was roomy and pleasant for this class of hotel, but the breakfast, though made with decent products, felt a bit basic for the price, especially the coffee. The restaurant was good but didn’t offer simple dishes (except for moules frites and other seafood) and had unnecessary sophistication. Parking was an issue, though that’s a general problem in Granville, not the hotel’s fault.

Not much to say, the hotel is well‑located but the negatives outweigh the positives. The building is very old, the reception was mediocre, and there’s no parking—free spots are far from the hotel. The surroundings are quite dirty, and the hotel is under renovation with scaffolding on our side of the windows, so the curtains weren’t drawn. There’s no air conditioning in the room.
