The host was lightning‑quick to answer any question and even sorted out a fridge issue on the spot. From the balcony we could see the mountains, which was really calming. The only thing that threw us off was the upstairs layout – the bedroom and the toilet are in separate rooms, and the whole place feels a bit too spread out.

We got the entire upper floor to ourselves, so there was plenty of room, and the view from the kitchen and balcony was breathtaking. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the location peaceful yet close to hiking trails and the town centre, with lots of activities nearby.

The place sits right on the Tauern Cycle Trail, quiet and the host was incredibly helpful, even setting up a garage with a code for our e‑bikes. Having a washer and dryer let us travel light, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Mittersill is a charming little town and the Pinzgau region is beautiful. The only drawback was the shower – a bit of a squeeze for anyone with a bigger belly, and the bathroom feels small for taller guests, though it’s manageable.
