An excellent refurbished motel, superb attention to detail for travellers’ comfort. Lots of inclusions eg providing pest spray, wine glasses, ample tea and coffee supplies and more. Very clean and good parking. All was great for our stay.

The warm welcome really set a great tone for my visit. The motel is within easy walking distance of the tourist information centre and Warialda shopping centre, and if you’re into family history you can hit the well‑curated museum just 5 minutes away. The koala bear reserve is also a 5‑minute walk from the Sunflower motel. Nothing to complain about.

The motel was well maintained, offered personal service, and the hot showers were nice. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet, with respectful fellow guests and the facilities you’d expect.
