“V suchu a v posteli na dvoudenním výletě”

I found it to be a nice, quiet spot for a longer trip. The food selection was somewhat limited, yet the meals were very good. The kettle in the room was handy. It’s an ideal place for a big group of kids on a school trip. The Wi‑Fi worked, and there was a TV in the room. We were there in October; in the morning the hot water was not working, and the heating didn’t function (the lady later brought electric heaters). Breakfast only serves up to 10 people (we had a great breakfast in Mníšek instead).

The only thing I could highlight is that the village where the inn sits is surrounded by beautiful nature, with a small square in front that lets you walk your dogs. The whole place has a shabby‑hotel vibe. On Friday and Saturday nights the restaurant plays loud live music until the early morning, making it impossible to sleep. The front of the building feels unwelcoming, stale air lingers, a noisy vending machine greets you, and there’s no staff at the reception. A very steep staircase leads to the rooms, which is quite dangerous with luggage. The room is tiny and cramped, the window is very small so the room can’t ventilate in summer, and stale air greeted me upon arrival. The bedding looked clean but had a stale smell, and the toilet paper dispenser was set to give only half a roll for four nights.

The location was great, but a tall guy came home with a bruised head, and the ceiling height in our room was absurdly low—especially in the bathroom where you can’t even brush your teeth or get into the tub, which was a small Frodo Pytlík, but we took it in stride.

“Zum Übernachten in Ordnung”

The spot was nice, right next to the forest with almost no traffic, perfect for quick forest workouts. The rooms were minimalist but clean. Unfortunately, the staff spoke no English. The rooms are very noisy, and the shower can only be used while sitting because of the sloped roof.
