The staff were very friendly and helpful, even though my Korean wasn’t always sufficient for smooth communication. I didn’t see anyone speaking English, but with a translation app everything worked out. The room was very spacious and the location is quite central in Seogwipo. It takes about 15 min on foot to the central roundabout, from where you can take a bus anywhere; there are also closer stops. The fridge in the room was handy. There’s a free washing machine on the 8th floor. I got the impression they were renovating, because when I arrived many new TVs were delivered and some rooms were painted… I didn’t feel bothered by that. It could have been cleaner; I found a few hairs and dirt on the shower head. There was no small bedside lamp, even though there were provisions for one. The blinds only dimmed the light moderately, so I woke up at about 7 am every morning. The kitchen in the room wasn’t usable for cooking because the gas was turned off. Instead there’s a communal kitchen on the 8th floor, which has seen better days, and the dining area there wasn’t really usable either. There was no dryer or hanging option in the room, so I didn’t want to expose my underwear to the world.

The bed was comfortable and the staff were very, very friendly. The room and especially the bathroom need a bit of renovation.

It was central and not on a steep hill. It felt sketchy, and the facilities weren’t as polished as they appear.

The hotel is very affordable, offering very low prices and a good location close to waterfalls, the market, and the 600 bus just 2 minutes on foot to the airport. The staff are pleasant and very helpful, and the room is spacious with towels that can be changed daily. However, the photos on the website are outdated, the building feels old, and the facilities—especially the bathroom—show significant wear and tear. A refresh and more careful cleaning of the bathroom would make the room more pleasant, which would be a plus for the hotel.
