The property was beautiful, very calm and quiet. The caretaker and owner were attentive and respected everyone’s privacy. It was a great find in a stunning part of the Catskills and was well situated near towns, mountains, and other attractions.

I was looking for a quiet weekend getaway, and Coldbrook Bed & Breakfast appeared in my search. I was immediately drawn to its modern, well‑curated aesthetic and its serene, off‑the‑beaten‑path vibe. When coming from the city you need all the quiet you can get, and I loved being able to build a fire in the firepit, which was great for morning coffee, evening drinks, or just sitting around with a book. Waking up to a view of the mountains in the morning is simply amazing. Kim, the host, was very communicative and helpful when needed, and she stocked the kitchen with wonderful snacks, condiments, and breakfast items. The room is very cozy, with dimmed lighting that creates a chill environment in the evening. Thank you again for creating such a peaceful place.
