The staff were very attentive and nothing required too much effort. We got an upgraded room that was amazing—very spacious, with a lovely sitting area and our own bar. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spotless. The only issue was the lighting, which was a bit dim; a brighter light would have been nicer, but it wasn’t a major problem.

The hotel is awesome. Modern, and I’ll book again.

The bedroom is big and spacious, and the bathroom is also large and roomy. We stayed in a standard room. The food was good, especially the breakfast, which was a self‑serve buffet with a nice variety of dishes. I had drinks in the afternoon, and the cocktails—especially the smoky Old Fashioned—were very nice. If you choose a weekend when football is played, book a taxi well in advance because the roads close and you’ll have to pass through security.

I’d normally visit for the spa and laid‑back atmosphere, but this time the spa was awful and unusable, and the pool was chilly. When I asked for help, the staff member—an arrogant lady—was rude and seemed indifferent to my experience. It was a birthday treat, so I was really let down.

The rooms are lovely, large, airy, and quiet. The only drawback is the long walk to the city centre; it feels very isolated, so I recommend taking a taxi everywhere.
