The room and facilities were spotless and comfortable, parking was easy, breakfasts were lovely, and the location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit – nothing we didn’t like, everything was ideal.

A great spot if you’re breaking up a long trip, with plenty to see and return to in the area.

The owner met us at check‑in, showed us our room, and told us all the details we needed, including the best spot for fish and chips 😀; everything was good, even the fine breakfast.

The place is great for a short stay, close to the main road and not far from Berwick and nearby spots; the staff and owners were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the lovely rural view from our window 😊. The only issues were a few cobwebs that could be cleared with a feather duster and a shower that felt a bit weak.

The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent, but the bed felt a bit firm.
