The location was great—just a few minutes by Tuk-tuk from Hikkaduwa’s main strip and beach—spacious, well‑equipped rooms and kitchen, and the host was very responsive to our arrival and departure questions. The air‑con in one room didn’t work, so it was sweltering hot, and there was a cockroach issue in one room; we stayed there for two nights and found six cockroaches. The accommodation didn’t let us know beforehand that payment had to be in cash, but we were carrying dollars.

Great villa, right by the ocean, just 5 minutes away, with a café and shops nearby. The host, a great guy named Málsha, does everything you ask and even rode a bike to the stores for me. If you want a comfortable break, I recommend it—you won’t regret it. For those interested, there’s a spacious kitchen with all the essentials. Thanks, Málsha.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and well equipped. I also liked that we had the room with the balcony. The best part was the huge “chill area” sofa, which was very comfortable.

Very large room, very kind hosts, safe and super clean! Definitely great value for money! Everything was nice. I knew it’s not in the center so the location a bit far from the crowd was nice. Though if someone wants in the center then it’s a 25 minute walk.
