We arrived expecting a cramped stay, but the house turned out huge, homey, and even exceeded our expectations; we felt like we’d moved in for two nights to become part of the family. The space was filled with abundant provisions—towels, washing rags, toiletries, and beverages—so we never felt without anything, and the lack of a TV let us enjoy quality time together. The lush surroundings and shaded areas kept the place cool as temperatures rose, so we didn’t need extra cooling, and the overall modest, lovely vibe makes me want to return. The only small annoyance was the need for a bit more light near the microwave and mini‑fridge.

Carol was the best—she waited for us when we were delayed and met us when we got lost, providing very useful information about the place; she’s truly a superstar. The area feels safe and quiet, though the absence of a TV was a minor issue.

The location was great, and I found complimentary chocolates in my room, but the Wi‑Fi in my room was weak. When I overstayed my check‑out by a couple of minutes, the gentleman who cares for the guesthouse had a strict tone with me.
