B&B HOTEL Marseille Les Ports

“C'était un séjour très désagréable à cause du très mauvais état de la chambre”

The room was very dirty, the sheets weren't clean, the sink hadn't been emptied and was dirty, and the window wouldn't close.

The room was clean, but it was obvious the hotel is aging. Breakfast wasn’t included, and the room window wouldn’t open. It was too far from the old port, so I expected nicer neighbourhoods.

“Moyen”

The place was clean and quiet. Throughout my stay there was no wifi, it was too slow. I had classes to attend and couldn’t manage them, unfortunately.

“Bon rapport qualité / prix”

Good value for money. The front‑desk staff were available and friendly. Breakfast was quite decent. The hotel is well placed for a cruise departure. The access is unrelated to the hotel, but the construction makes it hard and even dangerous to walk from the metro station.

“Puant”

The room layout was perfect for four people. However, a foul cigarette smell lingered in the non‑smoking room. A sock from the previous guest was on the smoke detector and a cigarette butt was in the sink. We had to breathe that smell the whole stay and decided to cut it short. The window could only open with a special key; the staff could have ventilated before we arrived. There was no lock in the bathroom. We filed a complaint for compensation but haven’t heard back after one month.
