The host, Mr. Wang, was very friendly. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and the homemade breakfast was tasty. The pebble beach was just 5 minutes away and Taroko Gorge was a short drive. It sits in a quiet area away from busy streets. Nothing to add.

The owner was warm and enthusiastic, checking our arrival time before we checked in, proactively telling us nearby shops closed early, and recommending good restaurants. The overall environment was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower gel came from a mountain herb‑gathering source. The owner was easy to talk to and added a lot to our stay, plus the beach‑car service he provided was great. All in all, highly recommended!

“Expensive for what it offers...”

The location was practical and the owner was kind and helpful. However, the price was high for what was offered. Breakfast was identical on both days, with no local items or even fresh fruit. The place was literally cold in temperature and atmosphere. There was a Christmas tree in the corner in March. The room was very basic and the cleaning could have been better.

“9.5 out of 10 from a retired frequent holidaying couple”

The couple hosts did a superb job, giving a home‑like B&B feel, keeping the place super clean, and serving delicious breakfast. We stayed twice while hiking Taroko and the surrounding area. Highly recommended. Mr. & Mrs. Poon from Singapore. The only downside was a bit of traffic noise early in the morning, but it was acceptable.
