“Lovely.”
The staff were lovely, the pool and rooms were very nice, and breakfast was excellent. They kindly left soup in the breakfast room (Euro #.50 per serving) in the evening for us to cook. The bathtub had no handrails, and the restaurant only opened Thursday‑Sunday, and I think lunch was only available Saturday‑Sunday.
The breakfast was really nothing extraordinary to revisit.
“Perfeito para descansar.”
The accommodation area is fantastic, with a traditional aesthetic that transports you to the past, and the restaurant Cozinha da Terra is spectacular. However, when I asked for an iron, I received no response at all.
“A charming place to relax in rural surroundings”
The property was charming, immaculately clean, and well managed. Breakfasts were excellent and the little pool was lovely. The bed linens were exquisite.
“Aangename en schone kamer,”
The location was quiet, but the entrance was messy and the walk to it went past factories and the like, which isn’t very appealing. There was no further communication with staff, leaving a feeling of being left to one's own devices. Breakfast was supposedly included in the booking, yet no place was found where it was served. Upon arrival, the fridge wasn’t on. Three Nespresso capsules for two people over two nights were provided. No nearby shops to buy basic items. The surroundings were very cluttered, and although the building itself was nice, the area was full of new construction with little culture nearby. The bathroom was tidy and clean. The pool was not clean, and the terrace around it was messy.
