The owner was kind and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent; the location is great. The 140 cm bed was a bit uncomfortable, but for two nights it wasn’t a huge issue.

The staff were very friendly and did everything they could; the suite was lovely.

I didn’t have breakfast on site; the place isn’t far from Givet but is actually in a tiny village with nothing else but the owner’s restaurant. The owner’s welcome was a bit confusing—he told me I couldn’t find the restaurant entrance for the keys, I didn’t understand, and he pointed it out sharply, which felt unwelcoming.
