“満足”

The room and the shower area were both spacious and easy to use. Overall the place felt clean and the value for money was good. I’d definitely stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

The room was large and tidy, and the toilets were clean as well. The price was spot‑cheap. However, the staff never even said hello when you entered, and they didn’t greet you. Other guests also seemed reluctant to talk to each other. It was a very peculiar experience. The customer experience and friendliness were certainly not a 1. The location felt far from the centre, and the room was very light and warm, which made it hard to sleep. All in all, it wasn’t a great stay.

“寛ぎの旅”

The bed in the basement first floor dorm was wide, comfortable, and the toilet and the spacious shower room were on the same floor, along with a washing machine, which made things very convenient. The common lounge on basement second floor was very handy – you could eat at a table and there were several power outlets on the wall, so it was great for working on a laptop. The refrigerator was large enough to keep chocolates and pickles temporarily. Temma‑cho’s tasty restaurants were right nearby. I plan to use it again. No particular negatives.

It’s very close to Kamo River, and public transport is quite convenient. The residential area is quiet, and basically everything is reachable on foot.
