“Very disappointing stay—faulty AC, poor cleanliness, bad smell. Would not recommend.”

The staff were super friendly, helpful, and acted fast—definitely a big plus. They really tried to make the best out of the situation. The guesthouse is close to the beach and it was quite nice, even though it’s near the main road. Water refill was free. However, room 115 smelled absolutely terrible and the AC wasn’t working properly. The bed was very short. After I complained, the staff offered me an “upgrade” to room 205, which at least didn’t smell, but the toilet seat was covered in urine, the bathroom doors wouldn’t close properly, and the entrance door only shut securely if locked. On top of that, this so‑called upgrade didn’t even include an electric kettle like the cheaper (but smelly) room. The AC in the second room also didn’t work properly, so they offered yet another room change after I asked for a partial refund. They didn’t refund anything. The alternative room next door had the same bad smell as the first one, so I passed on that offer—after getting tired of changing rooms every day of my 3‑night stay. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would definitely not book here again.

Maybe the location is okay. The staff were rude, the room was very dirty and smelly, there was just one power point and all day there was no power after a thunderstorm, no backup, etc. Just a place one should avoid.
