“Een schone kamer op loopafstand van de sassi.”
The host was friendly, the room was very clean, and it was within walking distance of the Sassi. Breakfast was good, and the host was helpful and considerate. However, it was very noisy; we woke up early because of the neighbors. There was no personal fridge, only a shared one in the breakfast area, but it was fine to store items there.

The host of the room was extremely helpful, took the time to explain Matera’s sights with a city map. He is well connected, knows tour operators, and gladly handles bookings over the phone (fast and uncomplicated) – especially useful if you’re short on time. The room is inside his apartment, yet privacy is always guaranteed. The host is also available for questions, even via WhatsApp.

The accommodation was really nice and clean. The host was super friendly and prepared good breakfast every day. The location is 15-30 minutes walk to most of the sightseeing in Matera.
