Hotel Ankora

The room is cozy and clean, the bathroom is large with a shower, a jacuzzi tub, and a bidet. The breakfast is not very varied and the food quality is average/low.

Great hotel in a very good area! Far fewer tourists, but all attractions within walking distance! The room for three was simply huge!! Good breakfasts, daily excellent cleaning, Russian‑speaking staff! Hi, girls at the reception from Kazakhstan, they’re great at everything and help and advise! The only downside is the sound insulation in the rooms. You can hear neighbors, any cough, any sound.

Good location. Close to public transport. The room is too small for three people. It has three beds, including a pull‑out. No kettle.

The staff were polite and attentive, and they came up with a solution to provide the room we wanted. We were very satisfied with the room we stayed in on the second day. Only the hot water issue was a big disappointment. On the evening of 13 September around 22:00 in the bathroom, while I was in a soap‑filled tub, the water suddenly turned cold. The hot water tap started delivering cold water. I turned off the tap and called my son outside, who phoned the reception, but he said there was no problem. I washed with cold water and left. I checked the water intermittently; the hot water was estimated to start flowing again after about an hour.
