“Disappointing but ok”

The view from the main terrace was amazing and the lift down to the sea was unusual; a communicating door was great and the staff were all very friendly. Our rooms faced the parking area at the front of the hotel, so taxis coming and going and their engines running while keeping the air‑con on made it really noisy. We couldn’t have the curtains open because it wasn’t at all private. We understand that someone has to get the worst rooms, so we’re not complaining, but it was very difficult to sleep each night.

The place is simply stunning, the staff are very friendly and polite, always ready to help with everything, very clean and very comfortable. It seems there’s a sort of taxi mafia there; they say the hotel offers a transfer but it never really worked – every time we needed one it wasn’t available or they couldn’t drop us off where we needed, yet the taxi was always at the door for an outrageous price. The hotel isn’t cheap, paying absurdly for taxis while they claim to have a transfer that never existed. In short, there are better hotels or ones closer to the center with the same price that actually deliver on what they promise. Everything is beautiful, but I won’t stay again.

“nice property, poor sleep due to poor AC”

Nice facility, beautiful views, great restaurant and staff. The air conditioning was terrible, ruined the stay, made nights sleeping poor and uncomfortable, and the hotel did little to make up for this.
