The wooden construction and the ideal size, the view of nature and the star‑filled sky without light pollution, the huge windows that let you enjoy the view fully, the provided eye mask (though I didn’t notice it, bring your own), the outdoor sauna, the grill even though I didn’t use it, the large shower, and the modern composting toilet were all great. As an architect I spotted more details: gravel on the floor doesn’t encourage walking barefoot, the steps are poorly positioned for walking, the house and the car are very close, so it’s not “completely” in nature, and the location at the end of a hamlet means that at night I saw wild boar on the road two nights out of three.
