After a tiring hike, the wonderful host greeted us warmly. The accommodation felt cozy and tastefully decorated, making us feel at home and wishing we could stay longer. The great pizzeria within walking distance capped off our visit.

The owner was very friendly. She had sent me a message because I was late, just to check if anything had happened. It was a nice, tidy stay about 70 km south of Milan. There was no breakfast, but coffee and a brioche were available. Nothing negative. Price and quality were just right.

The location is great, overlooking the plain below Broni. Nearby is the historic city of Pavia, and the Po River—one of Italy’s well‑known rivers—along with its rice fields is also close. Only a limited emergency breakfast is offered, which fits the overall concept of good value.
