The room was clean, but staying completely alone in an old single‑family house feels very odd; the furniture is a jumble of various items that probably would have ended up in the junkyard, the bathroom looks like what I remember from my grandparents’ 1960s home, and for over €100 per night the room was overpriced.

The place is close to my relatives and the check‑in/check‑out was hassle‑free. The room felt uncomfortable, with old dusty plastic décor, a slightly musty smell, and the bed linen, even in midsummer, was far from fresh. The terrace was dirty, littered with ashtrays on the table, filthy seat cushions, and everywhere old plastic flowers. In the bathroom, there were half‑used shower gels, soaps, and old toothbrushes, though the shower itself was clean. The hair dryer was an old, broken model in the mirror cabinet. The fridge still had a half‑opened yogurt, even though I was the only guest at the start. I was relieved that I could stay for sleep and otherwise with my family.

If you just want to sit outside of Halle, this apartment is a good choice. Shops are nearby and the bakery on the corner offers a great breakfast. The city centre has good dining options. The house has a large garden, and with the heat you can enjoy the terrace nicely. The kitchen is excellently equipped. We had no problems with other guests. We had the ground‑floor apartment all to ourselves. It was a pity that there were two separate beds, but with this last‑minute booking you’re glad you found a place so well.

The beds were good and we slept wonderfully. We had made a mistake with the booking, but we were still able to arrive after payment. It feels too expensive compared to other stays.
