The place was sensational and the staff super friendly. The waterhole was lovely. The only downside was that you have to pay for a game drive – not a big deal for me, but good to know.

This lodge was a lovely place to stay. Having visited Namibia many times, Anderssons stands out as one of the best. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The lodge itself was very well designed and kept in a spotless, shining state. I would highly recommend it for a perfect holiday.

The lodge sits perfectly at the southern entrance of the park. The staff are incredible – warm, welcoming, flexible, and constantly attentive to comfort and quality service. The food is delicious and more reasonably priced than other lodges that offer large breakfasts before early‑morning activities. The rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable, with animals coming right up to the terraces. The outdoor shower is also fantastic. The only drawback is that there is no separate WC in the rooms, so you have to be pretty comfortable with your partner.

The lodge is comfortable, but given the price paid, one would still expect something more. It’s a bit too expensive, especially since at noon you get one activity on the arrival day, two the next day, and none on the departure day. For nights over €2000 it’s a bit tight.

We were back for a second visit and are still thrilled. The bungalows at Anderssons are great, the area right by the waterhole is perfect, and the food and service are very good. A must‑visit is the exhibition! The highlight was the encounter of the two lions with the black rhino during dinner – pure fascination.
