We booked the room, yet the staff gave it to another guest because we hadn’t paid immediately at the time of booking, even though we had selected the “pay on arrival” option; we were traveling with two small children who had been forcibly evacuated from Orange Beach, Alabama, and this was completely unprofessional—multiple guests with children were treated the same way, and the staff failed to care for their customers.

The place was clean and comfortable.

The room was on the first floor and close to the doors, but over two nights we had two cold showers, no hot water at the sink, two broken ice machines that forced us to buy a bag of ice at a convenience store, an A/C motor that squealed all night, and a broken OJ machine at breakfast both days we stayed; everything seemed broken or not working.
