The bed was cozy, the room was small and modest, practically everything you need for a stay. For that price I would expect a much larger TV in such a location; if I have to walk 2 km to some Atrium at the reception, I really don’t expect a 10‑inch TV with no delivery to the room.

The place was clean and well‑maintained, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. However, if you arrive later the reception is closed and you have to drive 5 minutes to another hotel to check in. If you don’t have a car it’s extremely inconvenient; it seemed pointless that restaurant staff could have kept the key with them instead of making you drive (or walk if you don’t have a car) through the city just to pick up a card.

The food was amazing: we came straight for supper and wine, the service was very kind and professional, the trout was ultra fresh, the hermelin was melty and satisfying, and the bryndza dumplings were delicious and very authentic. Breakfast was cozy and consistently well set, featuring regional honey, cake and burčak. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and the silence was perfect. The only downside was that the reception was in a different hotel and nobody contacted us to guide us there instead of the one we arrived at; we lost some time figuring it out, but by the morning the reception was open so there were no further issues.
