I stayed at the hotel while cycling around. It was perfect for that purpose and also safe for other holiday types. The staff were friendly and the food was good.

“Für eine Nacht ok, mehr nicht.”

The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast is good. The location is right next to the church, and the bells ring very loudly day and night; the hotel can’t do anything about that. The rooms feel more like a youth hostel, very simple and uncomfortable, and some parts are even outdated.

“Gut geführtes, komfortables Hotel in traumhafter, ruhiger Lage - sehr zu empfehlen!”

The hotel is located in a picturesque little quiet village 150 meters above Scuol, with no through traffic. The view from our four‑bedroom room is wonderful, with a beautiful mountain panorama. The room furnishings are simple but functional, with very comfortable mattresses. We requested a quiet room, “bell‑away,” and that wish was fulfilled. Parking in front of the house is ample. From the moment of booking, the hotel communicated friendly and attentively with us, answering questions quickly. The evening menu is highly recommended, changing every day and offered at a reasonable price (45 francs for four courses); you sit comfortably in the glazed veranda with a mood‑setting view, but without insect problems. Special praise goes to the staff: we arrived a bit late due to traffic, had warned them by e‑mail, and still managed to enjoy our delicious dinner in peace. The breakfast was also enjoyable; we made a lunch package for a small extra fee, and it was so extensive that we could comfortably sustain our subsequent hike. We were also allowed to store “sensitive” luggage for a week during our hut tour, free of charge, and then pick it up again—thanks again for that special service! Our Swiss holiday could not have started better, and we will certainly come back. Even though everything worked flawlessly, the bathroom could use some renovation work. The bells that ring at night did not disturb us; we could sleep until 5:00 am with the balcony window open (the window facing the church we had closed in the evening), and when we finally closed the balcony window, we heard practically nothing. Overall, we found the bells to be a harmonious acoustic accompaniment to the holiday, gently nudging us into relaxation—very sensitive guests who always sleep with the window open might see it differently.

A friendly team, good dinner and breakfast, free parking right outside, and a great price‑to‑value ratio in a very quiet spot. The only downside was the church bells ringing every quarter‑hour all night, but the windows are well‑insulated so that with them closed nothing could be heard. Nothing else to complain about at the hotel or restaurant.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff who made me feel right at home. Our quiet and spotlessly clean room was the perfect place to relax, and I was able to fully recharge during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.
